Desirable Skills

• Although specific care qualifications are not required LDAF would be extremely favourable.
• Ideally you will be a car driver
• Previous experience of working with/alongside people with Learning disabilities is a definite advantage.

Essential Skills Required

• The ability to demonstrate ordinary life principles i.e. treating people with dignity and respect.

 

• Motivating skills and a positive outlook are imperative.

 

• Catering/Domestic/Housekeeping skills

 

• Be fully literate and numerate

 

• Can demonstrate confidentiality when dealing with service users affairs i.e. financial and personal details
