Title:        Support Workers/Carers
Location:  Leeds & Surrounding Areas
Salary:     £7-£9 per hour

Unity Social Care is recruiting for Temporary & Banked Learning Disabilities/Elderly Support Workers.

The roles are working alongside people with Sensory/Learning Disabilities and Elderly (Depending on the service) supporting them as required.

Essential Skills Required
• The delivery of personal care in a friendly and helpful manner
• Previous experience within a similar environment
• Knowledge of dealing with deaf blind people or people with learning disabilities in a caring and professional manner
• Be fully trained within moving & handling techniques
• Previous experience of providing care within a social care setting (Ideally residential or supported living)
• Full days/nights available to suit your own life and commitments
• Ideally be able to provide sleepover cover as and when required although this is not essential
• Ideally NVQ level 2 within Social Care or working towards.
